Mansfield Town manager Paul Cox is hoping that winger Adam Smith will remain with the Stages following his loan spell at Aldershot.
Speaking about the end of his loan period on Saturday, Shots manager Dean Holdsworth had said that he hoped to be able to bring Smith back to the club in the near future, however Cox appears to have other ideas telling the official Mansfield Town website: “I hope Adam’s loan at Aldershot has freshened him up.
“I’ll now be looking for him to push his way into our starting eleven and stay there.”
