Murray Departs Company With Shots

Aldershot Town manager Kevin Dillon has confirmed that former Bristol City player Scott Murray will not be joining the club.

The 36-year old who has made over 400 appearances for the west country club, had been training with the club over the last few weeks, however the boss has told the clubs official website: "Scott has been training with us during the summer but it is likely that he will be staying at his former club in a part time coaching role that will limit his opportunities on the playing side.

"I wish Scott all the best for the future."

Dillon is still in the hunt for four or five more players as he continues to build a side ahead of the League Two opener at Accrington Stanley on 7th August.
