Brown Reflects On Pool Defeat

Terry Brown has told official club website www.theshots.co.uk that he thought the clubs FA Cup match against Blackpool was there to be won and reflected on the disappointment of losing out to the League One outfit.

He told the site, "The worst possible scenario you can think of as a non league manager is to come to a place such as Blackpool and concede two goals in the first seven minutes.

"We did that from the first two attacks. We showed a lot of composure after that, played some good football and I thought that there was nothing in it during the second half.

"I think that if we had scored a second goal early in the second half then we would have had a chance of going on and winning the match. We didn't and you have to say that the main difference between the sides was that we had more chances than them and scored two whereas they had less chances and scored four".
