Bozanic Joins Shots

Aldershot Town have confirmed that manager Kevin Dillon has made his second loan signing of the week.

The Shots boss stated that he was hoping to make a pair of signings after Tuesday evenings match against Northampton Town, and managed to beat todays deadline and sign Reading's Australian U21 International, Oliver Bozanic.

The one month deal has been funded through the Player Transfer Fund and has delighted Dillon, who said: "Oliver is a talented player who has played all over the world with Australian teams which has been a good experience for him too. In addition to being an Under 21 International he has also been selected for inclusion in the national squad too. Oliver is also a great dead ball specialist.

"Although we have few injuries at the moment I just wanted to being a couple of players in to add strength to the squad as we approach a busy period. I am more than happy with the arrival of Marlon and Oliver."

Bozanic is primarily a wide left-footed midfielder, but is adaptable to play anywhere on the left-hand side. He has featured in a loan spell at Cheltenham Town earlier this season and spent a similar spell on loan at Woking last season.

Dillon concluded by saying: "I am delighted to have Oliver at the club. He is somebody that I know extremely well from my time at Reading and having worked with him for over two years I know all about his character and that is important when you are making a signing. This is a similar situation to the arrival of Marlon Jackson as Gary Owers has worked with him before at Bristol City."
