Contributors to the Stray Shots Player Pledge Fund are set to make their first donation to the Player Transfer fund this week.
Since the start of the season, the Stray Shots have been collecting small pledges from a small number of Shots supporters who have pledged from 50p per goal scored to £10 per clean sheet and the total of pledges currently stands at £905.
Although not all of the funds that has been pledged has been paid, the fund is donating £500 this week to help the larger Player Transfer Fund pay for Aaron Brown and Dean Morgan.
Speaking about the Player Transfer Fund on the clubs official website today, Shots Chairman John Leppard said: ""When the lads first came to the Board with the idea of Shots Player Share, it got our unanimous approval.
"It's a shame they have run into frustrations with setting it up, but I am sure it will come good in the end, in the meantime the transfer fund has been a God send as we have been able to strengthen our squad considerably with the funds and has meant we are at the right end of the table.
"Well done to those involved and I would encourage our fans to get involved if they can as you can see the results on the pitch."
